At Rocky Road Doodles, we breed premium Bernedoodles with an emphasis on health, temperament, and stunning color.

We have been industry leaders in breeding color-intense (lower fading) tri, red + white tuxedo, and merle-tri Bernedoodles. We pioneered the Ultra Bernedoodles and Multigenerational Bernedoodles to achieve the ideal combination of temperament, health, color pattern, low- to non-shedding coats, and longer lifespan than the traditional Bernese breed.

Our Ultra Bernedoodles, with a strong Bernese Mountain Dog infusion, have set us apart for producing show-stopping Bernedoodles that live in homes all across the country.

For over a decade we have operated exclusively as a family-raised program. We do not use kennel facilities—our parent dogs live in their own forever homes, and puppies are raised in family environments where they’re socialized, loved, and emotionally prepared for life with people.

We genetically select for hypoallergenic, easy-to-maintain coats while preserving the signature Bernese look and loose wavy hair- resulting in an emotionally intelligent, playful and sweet pup who won’t shed all over the couch- perfect for modern family and city life.

We are proud to be owned and operated by Canine Concepts LLC, a trusted name in ethical dog breeding across the United States. As part of the Canine Concepts family — which also includes Namaste Bernedoodles in Texas and Orchard Valley Doodles in Ohio — we uphold the highest standards in responsible, science-backed breeding practices.
